WINTERSOWING- “HARNESS WINTER TO GROW RESILIENT NATIVE PLANTS”
We are currently booking winter sow workshops for January and February of 2025.
Winter sow is a dynamic hands on workshop that mimics nature for the seeds and allows us gardeners to have well established seedlings come spring.
If meeting with your group and giving a presentation about native plants, a hands on make and take tutorial on winter sowing, and a Q&A interests you, reach out! This can be adapted for youth groups.
“PLANT WITH PURPOSE, DESIGN WITH NATURE”- NATIVE PLANT GARDEN DESIGN
This workshop can run anytime of the year.
Learn how to create beautiful resilient gardens and understand their vital role in supporting pollinators and wildlife while restoring local ecosystems. This course introduces the principles of ecological garden design, including plant selection, layering, and site-specific planning with native species. Participants will gain practical skills, and be given useful resources to design gardens that are both visually striking and ecologically beneficial- whether for a home garden, community space, or larger restoration project.
